My Journey

Finally got my diagnoses  a few days ago , after months of agony , no treatment, back and fore the health center and 2 trips to casualty the doctors told me I was suffering from polymyalgia- was gutted really as if I had the right diagnosis earlier could have had treatment, the only thing I had was painkillers which just took the edge off the pain really [ and sent me to sleep] doctors had to admit that it was'nt sciatica when the pain moved from my hips and legs to my arms and shoulders have'nt been able to move at all. But... I have had a bit of a journey and think this was meant to be , as I've seen the best and worst of people, realised who my true friends are and most importantly found out a few  things about myself .. my strengths, weaknesses and wrong attitudes, sometimes it's hard to look at yourself but illness sometimes cause us to sit and ponder. Well am feeling much better now as these tablets are kicking in. So , looking forward to the future now , getting back to my craft room and spending time with my True friends !!
